Job Description:

A growing Locks & Doors company is seeking a Full-Time Locksmith/Door Technician in the MD & Washington DC Area to join our team. The perfect candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and reliable. All experience levels are welcome to apply. Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background test, have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must have previous experience in the repair and installation of commercial and residential locks and doors. Unlimited earning potential is available for well rounded, responsible and reliable technicians who are willing to put the time in.

*We provide Tools, Vehicle, etc. along with excellent pay.

We are only searching for Technicians who are experienced with tools, can lift 50-80lbs and are prepared to work in both of the fields Locksmith and Door Installation/Repair/Replacement can abide by the following responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

 

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills along with good customer relations and customer service.

·         Valid Driver's License - good driving record – willingness to travel between job sites in MD/DC/VA

·         Prior experience servicing Automated Doors, Installing Door Frames, Installing Glass Doors, Metal Doors. (both single & double)

·         Maintain company Vehicles, Tools and other property in proper manner.

·         Perform Installation, Replacement and Repair work on both Residential and Commercial Doors.

  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and components for all Locksmith assignments and duties.

·         Working knowledge of mechanical and electronic Locks. Install, Repair and Re-key/re-pin Locks, Cylinder, evaluate and Repair Door Locks, fabricate and provide maintenance in a timely manner.

  • Able to Install Hardware (Mechanical Closers, Exit devices, and various other Commercial and Residential Hardware)

·         Willing to work more than 40 hours per week with a flexible work schedule and the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

  • Perform Emergency Lockouts for both Cars and Homes.

·         Ability to handle Physical Workload if needed. (Ability to lift 50lb at least.)

·         Deadline and Detail-oriented.

·         Must be able to speak English clearly and effectively.

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Professional attitude and respectable appearance.

·         Respectful of clients’ property and home.

·         Pass a background check.

·         Ability to work independently.

 

Certified Technician in the Door field is a plus.

Work Location: Mobile - Multiple locations (MD/DC/VA)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Door Repair/ Door Installation: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Locksmith: 1 year (Preferred)

Additional Compensation:

  • Commission

  • Bonuses

  • Onsite Customer locations (DC/MD/VA)
