Location: Frankfurt, or London with the flexibility to work from home regularly
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the role:
The Director Investor Relationships, EMEA will lead investor engagement on behalf of the companies work with EMEA-
based members of the companies Investor Advisory Group, its related working groups, engagement with the investor
community more broadly, and other activities as needed.

The ideal Director Investor Relationships, EMEA will be analytical and personable, with direct experience of how
institutional investors use ESG/sustainability information. You have experience with and enjoy relationship
management, which will be a significant part of this role as you liaise with investor trade groups and engage with
high-profile groups of investors.

Reports to: Director Outreach, Global Investors


Guidelines for in-office work in London and Frankfurt –

  • London-based Operations staff are expected to be in the office approx. 40% of the time each month, but this is to be agreed with each team manager.
  • London-based Technical staff are expected to be in the office approx. 60% of the time each month, again, but this is to be agreed with each team manager.  The primary reason for the increased presence for technical staff is to facilitate team discussions/brainstorming and also events such as public Board meetings necessitate a higher level of office presence as we expect staff to participate in Board meetings in-person whenever possible.
  • Frankfurt-based staff are expected to be in the office 3 days a week, with greater office presence expected during Board week for staff participating in/supporting the Board meetings (consistent with Montreal).


Key responsibilities:
You will be working with the Director Outreach, Global Investors in, among other things, managing the companies
Investor Advisory Group (IIAG) as well as engagement with investor associations in various ways, including:

  •  Managing select IIAG and investor association relationships
  •  Working with the Director Outreach, Global Investors to identify and prioritize IIAG member prospects who may be invited to join the Group from markets which are un- and/or under-represented in the Group
  •  Representing the company and the work of the companies investor-focused events, particularly in Europe
  •  Liaising with the companies staff and board members as needed to compile and/or develop IIAG meeting
  • materials
  •  Managing the EMEA IIAG working group, including planning and hosting meetings, as well as IIAG
  • working groups in other markets, as necessary
  •  Overseeing Engagement Team Assistant’s responsibilities to maintain updated investor contact
  • information in SalesForce
  •  Developing and maintaining a system by which we measure investor perceptions of the companies Standards and the satisfaction of their needs via the the companies due process


Skills, experience and qualifications sought:
The ideal candidate will have: significant experience working in the asset management industry or related investor
associations; extensive experience with relationship management, and; a deep understanding of the sustainability
disclosure landscape. Committed to the companies remit, and with a strong desire to be help establish a global baseline
for the disclosure of sustainability-related financial information, you will also understand why investor engagement
is critical to the success of company.

  • develop and run reports
  •  Thrive in both entrepreneurial and bureaucratic environments
  • Be comfortable with fast-changing conditions—flexibility is important
  • FSA Credential a plus

The Company operates under a multi-location operating model; early mornings and late nights will be required from time to
time.

Salary: 

  • London 110,000 – 115,000 GBP
  • Frankfurt 125,000 – 130,000 EUR
