Dental Assistant

Job Summary

Are you looking for a Dental Assistant or EDDA position where you can work with flexibility and the knowledge that you're helping both patients and dental specialists? We'd love to have you join our team.  The dental assistant position is a temporary position to work in the Denver area.  As part of the team, you'll learn more about dental terminology, dental software and some dental technology, all to better assist our patients and help you be more proficient in your position.

Job Responsibilities

• assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• taking digital dental radiographs (x-rays)
• asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
• preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
• communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)
• Review treatment and post-treatment care instructions with patient’s
• Maintain organization and confidentiality of patient’s records according to HIPPA standards and requirements. 

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required

• At least one year experience as a dental Assistant or EDDA
• Current knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and CDC regulations and policies
• Detail oriented and the ability to multi-task

Willingness to learn different Dental Software
