As a Data Scientist, you will use machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and other analytics techniques on time-series machine sensor data and other datasets to better understand data patterns.
The Data Scientist will be expected to frame problems, identify/create/explore alternatives, and formulate/negotiate/develop/validate solutions. He/she must be a fast learner and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams (including other data scientists, product design/simulation experts, software/application developers, condition monitoring analysts) to develop analytics algorithms that deliver customer value on complex IoT systems. Decisions may affect the project or program team, the division or business unit, internal and external customers and the market, and may require justification to upper management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
M.S. degree (Ph.D preferred) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Finance, Computer Science, or in mathematical areas of Physics, Electrical and Mechanical engineering
2 plus years of work experience or equivalent (e.g. post-doc) developing and deploying advanced algorithms on large data sets (focus on time series analysis strongly preferred)
Demonstrated strong expertise in Machine Learning/AI and their application to data modeling and analysis, conversant with the latest academic developments in this field

Strong python programming skills
Experience building or working with popular cloud data and analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience operating in Agile environment
Experience working with software developers
Experience with physical/engineering system modeling/simulation
Experience developing IoT time series analytics algorithms
