Job Description:

PayHub Payments is looking for an individual who truly enjoys helping customers, loves working as a team and finds joy in problem-solving. If you have customer service or tech support experience in merchant services or a related field we are looking for you! You should be able to communicate through many channels of communication – primarily phone and email.

If you love to troubleshoot issues, have a natural curiosity to learn new things, feel very comfortable with technology, want to be part of a growing business and are driven to help customers, then this position might be right for you.

Required:

  • Experience working in merchant services!
  • Excellent customer support skills – you should be Empathetic and Patient as the majority of our inbound calls come from our clients who have questions or concerns.
  • You must be able to Accurately on-board new clients so they start processing with us without a glitch, gap or any noticeable transition. Accuracy also goes for any account changes or updates - terminal set-ups - providing client information - well, everything!
  • Compassion and Understanding for your customers is important as they may be stressed while communicating with you. Responsiveness is key; getting information back to your customers as quickly as possible as well as other team members makes a huge difference to our customers. You are the Resource that customers are relying on, so you should know the answer to their questions and know when to ask other team members for help. We are the expert!
  • This role is also meant for someone who is a self-proclaimed technical guru - there will large equipment programming and troubleshooting component to this role - you cannot be afraid to push the buttons!
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
  • You should quickly learn how to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues.
  • Sometimes everything is status quo and we have dedicate our time to bigger picture things - such as generating new growth ideas, documenting new processes, etc.
  • You should have a desire to learn, master and even teach everything you know about PayHub Payments.
  • High School Diploma

Experience/Skills Desired

  • Credit Card Processing knowledge. Credit card industry terms and processes required.
  • Experienced + passionate about customer service and relationships.
  • Experience with countertop terminals, point of sale systems, e-commerce shopping carts, payment processing software.
  • Excellent written and phone communication skills.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office + Google.
  • Experience using a CRM.
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
  • Attention to detail and fully completing daily tasks.
  • Well organized
  • Self-starter
