Combi Packaging Systems, located in North Canton, OH is searching for a qualified candidate to add to our Customer Service Team.
The Customer Service Representative serves as the voice of the company to facilitate customers’ taping equipment needs. The CSR is a voice of reason and calm that will respond timely and actively to resolve customer situations and strengthen the relationships between packaging customers and Combi Packaging Systems.
Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming customer calls into phone queue with pleasant and helpful attitude
· Successfully convert customer inquiries and quote requests into sales orders
· Create sales orders within ERP system, provide invoices, acknowledgements and delivery information to customers
· Receive and process orders via numerous systems with equal priorities and manage status updates to customers
· Provide correct and current part numbers in timely manner to customers
· Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale
· Develops and always maintains positive customer relations with customers
· Responds to customer inquiries for product quotes, contributes as needed to timely shipping schedules
· Recognizes new business opportunities and provides suggestions to take advantage of them
· Directs technical support calls to 3M-Matic helpline and follows up on customer issues
Qualifications:
· High School Degree or equivalent
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service related role for manufacturing equipment
· Understanding and ability to operate within ERP systems
· Must have technical aptitude to interpret and interact with customers about product manuals and machines
· Must be organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks
· Must have intermediate proficiency in MS Office products
· Ability to work in fast paced, detail orientated environment
