Customer Advocate Specialist

Walker Industrial, a subsidiary of Graybar Electric (a Fortune 500 company,) is a long-established electrical distributor specializing in industrial automation technology. We are currently looking to hire a Customer Advocate to join our customer service team, based in our Newtown, CT office.

What is a Customer Advocate? It's pretty simple: our customers are our partners, and we do everything we can to exceed their expectations. It's a little bit customer service, a little bit inside sales, a little bit logistics, and a little bit of everything else! This is an excellent growth opportunity for the right candidate.
 

Responsibilities for Customer Advocates include, but are not limited to:
 

• Provide exceptional service to our client base
• Excel at problem solving and "thinking outside the box" to find solutions to meet customer needs
• Utilize company CRM and ERP software to generate quotes and orders and manage customer relationships

Job Requirements for Customer Advocates:
 

• The ability to multitask under pressure
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Superior data entry and customer service skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and typing skills a must
