This role requires a strong command of language, exceptional writing skills, and an understanding of SEO best practices to create content that is both search engine optimized and human-readable. The Content Writer will work with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and product to create content that effectively communicates brand messages and drives business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and informative content that aligns with the company's brand voice and messaging
- Conduct research to gather information and write content on various topics related to the company's industry and target audience
- Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy that is optimized for search engines and easy to read
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content that aligns with marketing and product strategies
- Optimize content for SEO and perform keyword research to improve search engine rankings
- Create and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all mediums
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation and marketing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in content creation, preferably in a B2B environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research
- Ability to write for various mediums and adjust writing style to suit different audiences and purposes
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, HubSpot, or Drupal
- Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyze information from multiple sources
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
