DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:

The Content Team executes content strategy and development to power the success of our multiple B2C properties and significantly grow quality traffic which converts into customers. We collaborate with top-notch SEO, SEM, Product and Design teams in our quest to build best-in-class content experiences - in and out of our product - in the dynamic and ever-expanding career space.

This is your chance to learns the ins and outs of SEO best practice and combine your new knowledge base with your editorial expertise to conceptualize, execute, and active online content to support some of the most widely used career services products in America. You’ll have the opportunity to work within a dedicated, purpose-driven content bureau that’s committed to learning and growing, and we’ll look to you to help us build articles, reports, and product content that can add unique value to an already overcrowded job-related publishing space.
 

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • End-to-End SEO Content Production: Conceptualize, execute, and activate online SEO content initiatives for some of the most widely used career services products in America, managing deadlines along the way
  • Ideate and Brief Writing: Write detailed briefs to guide content vendors to deliver first class SEO content and focused career content
  • Editing: Edit and approval copy produced for SEO, SEM and Product
  • Content Continuity: Working closely with relevant stakeholders to understand the impact of content development in all aspect of the customer journey and user experience. Ensure that content strategies are aligned at the top, middle and bottom of the funnel adding Product and SEO value
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Spearhead the creation of new highly optimized page template designs in collaboration with SEO, optimization, design, and development teams
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze key marking analytics to make strategic recommendations about content gaps and opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or English
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in online media or digital communications – and a solid understanding of the digital media landscape (internships count as valid experience)
  • Exceptional writing, sub-editing and copyediting skills
  • An online portfolio demonstrating exemplary writing and content creation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Committed self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects under limited direction
  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Performs well under extreme deadline pressure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience integrating SEO best practice principles into content
  • Experience using Wordpress, including basic knowledge of HTML
  • Digital marketing experience
