Commercial Drywall Project Coordinator

Join our top-flight Commercial Drywall company in Ankeny, IA as a Commercial Drywall Project Coordinator. This pivotal role is essential to the success of our company in the region, overseeing large-scale projects with high visibility to upper management. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in the commercial drywall construction field and possess strong client relationship skills.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year and significant opportunities for career growth within the company.
 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and applicable field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Timberline or Viewpoint Vista Project Management software (Preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, or other Project Management software.
• Experience with On-Screen and Quickbid Takeoff is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the construction of multiple commercial drywall projects, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Build and maintain client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
• Collaborate with upper management to develop project strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Utilize project management software to track project progress, manage budgets, and generate reports.
• Coordinate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project estimates, proposals, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support the Project Manager in various administrative tasks, including document management and procurement activities.
