CNC/Manual machinist/toolmaker

JOB SUMMARY:

Local high precision gage company has a position available for a CNC/Manual machinist/toolmaker. Some travel may be required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• The right candidate will have CNC lathe and manual machine experience
• Candidate must be able to perform their own setups and have G-Code experience
• A complete set of personal machinist tools is needed to complete the job

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 5 years experience is preferred
• Previous work with Conversational is a plus

The job entails manufacturing and repairing gages. The chosen interviewee will be detail oriented, able to hold tight tolerances, have a good eye for aesthetics, will be self-motivated and a quick thinker.

Additional Information/Benefits:

The applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years experience in a machine shop environment is vital. There is probationary period of 90 days. Screening Requirements: Criminal Background, Drug Screen

The Montgomery County Engineer's Office (MCEO) located in Dayton, Ohio is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating 525 bridges and 315 miles of county roads.  MCEO is seeking a Civil Engineer 1 engineer to join our design team.  Position assists senior engineering staff with the design and preparation of plans for minor roadway, bridge, drainage and asphalt resurfacing projects.
