Made in America is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Operator to join our rapidly growing team. This role will ensure that the manufacture of parts meets the high precision standards of our customers. Experience with HAAS, 3 axis, 4 axis, and 5 axis mills is a must. Must be a self-starter and be able to follow written procedures clearly and accurately with minimal supervision. Overtime as needed. Must be flexible to come in earlier or stay later, depending on workload. Training provided to the right candidate.
CNC Machining: 5 year (Preferred)
Must be able to read and interpret drawings and prints.
The candidate should be proficient in G Code. 4th and 5th axis experience is a huge plus.
Must be able to complete your own setup with a provided tool list.
Demonstrated understanding of GD&T.
Ability to recognize deviation from standard machining practices.
Familiarity with tight tolerance is a plus.
Knowledge of various machines including lathes and other general machine shop equipment.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections.
Must have adequate experience in creating setups/fixtures.
