Description:

Caching The cloud infrastructure engineer will be part of the team responsible for key operational aspects like availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and integration of on-prem and public cloud caching products like Azure Redis, Enterprise Redis & Pivotal Gemfire with heavy focus on building self-service tools and automation. The ideal candidate is one who has hands experience on Redis, Java & Python, software engineering skills and excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Required Skills:
-Hands-on Public Cloud experience
-Hands on experience using Redis, Java & Linux
-Strong fundamentals in distributed system design and operation
-Expertise with Python and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
-Experience building automation to operate large-scale systems
-Experience building RESTful interfaces
-Experience with Agile development methodology and CI/CD
-Experience with tools such as GIT, Jira and Bitbucket
-A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams

What Gives You an Edge:
-Experience/Knowledge of Pivotal Gemfire/Apache Geode-Deep knowledge of JVM internals
-Experience with system performance
-Experience working with Docker & Kubernetes
-A minimum of 5 years of engineering / development experience required
