Samtek Inc, is looking for a number of Sr. Cloud Engineers (AWS/Azure) to help the adoption of public cloud in Federal Government agencies.


Splunk Cloud Engineer Job Summary:
We’re in search of a Cloud Engineer with expertise in Splunk who can seamlessly mesh tech know-how with business acumen to help us navigate all our cloud computing needs, including infrastructure design, maintenance, support and planning, and everything in between. Not only are you experienced in cloud-based tech, but you have a firm grasp of IaaS/PaaS/CaaS technologies, platforms and applications, and have intimate knowledge of how best to customize these attributes to our business to help us become more secure and efficient. Not only can you help us connect the dots and evolve our cloud capabilities over time, but you’re also evolving your own capabilities as an engineer and keeping an eye on developments that can support our expansion—and help us implement those, too. In addition, you are either already or wanting to become a subject matter expert in large scale splunk deployments. 

Splunk Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain infrastructure as code
• Provide support to senior engineers
• Maintain testing and development environments
• Support the implementation of moderately complex projects in DevOps
• Continuous integration
• Continuous Develop
• System operations

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect etc.
• Hands on Experience building / managing and operating large scale splunk deployments
• Hands on Experience building scaleable infrastructure in the public cloud
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
• Customer obsessed.

• Public Cloud Certificates (AWS or Microsoft Azure)
• Hands on DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering Experience
• Previous experience as a Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
• Track record of managing and troubleshooting technical and integration projects.
