Certified Nursing Aide

Get Hire staffing is looking to hire on per diem basis qualified CNA in a nursing home facility
Salary pays- $14-$16 an hour

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe patient environment
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Cerner)
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and seniors
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medication
