Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

  • Successfully complete company safety training
  • Climbing and working on communications towers installing, replacing, and repairing antenna, microwave, small cell, and other systems
  • Installation of hybrid cable and fiber
  • Basic knowledge in the use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • The ability to climb tall structures with 30-50 lb. load
  • Ability to learn to analyze and troubleshoot customer technology under direct guidance and training of foreman
  • Ability to learn to operate sweep, PIM, and microwave test gear under direct guidance and training of foreman
  • Ability to following instructions and complete assigned tasks with guidance
  • Recognize safety hazards, perform duties in a safe manner
  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 1-3 years of experience climbing and working on towers
  • Attention to detail
  • Possession of a valid driver license and ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Records check

Tower Technician I: You will be trained with the appropriate skills to accomplish assigned tasks from foreman and tower technician II’s. You will be working directly for the foreman, and with team members on the installation and maintenance of communication towers, support structures, in-building, small cell, and DAS builds. As a tower technician I, you will be provided the training and guidance to become a highly skilled technician. Tower technicians work long hours, travel throughout New England, and work at great heights in extreme weather conditions. This job is only for the most extreme of people.
