We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Capital Raising Business Partner to join our team. As a Capital Raising Business Partner, you will be responsible for sourcing, securing, and managing capital raising opportunities. Your main goal will be to help us raise capital to support our business objectives and expand our operations. You will work closely with our executive team and play a key role in driving the growth of our company.
Everything is in place, we just now need you to head the scale of our capital raising initiatives!
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and secure capital raising opportunities for the company, including equity and debt financing, venture capital, private equity, and other sources of capital
- Develop and implement capital raising strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver presentations and pitch decks to potential investors and other stakeholders
- Conduct due diligence on potential investors and evaluate investment proposals
- Negotiate terms and conditions with investors and other stakeholders
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure that capital raising activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals
- Monitor and manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on capital raising activities and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in capital raising or related fields, such as investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and capital structures
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital for companies or investment funds
- Operational design (streamlining focused objectives)
- Strategic Partnerships (sourcing/screening/onboarding)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Passion for financial innovation
