Position Overview:
-The Buyer will handle full-cycle source-to-delivery responsibilities. The Buyer will be responsible for planning and executing proper replenishment, forecasting, and orders for inventory management to meet company goals.

Responsibilities of the the Buyer:
-Have a good understanding when it comes to requisitioning, source selection, clip levels, contracting, expense approvals, and PO release to ensure process integrity
-Take full ownership delivery of the facilities maintenance materials in a timely manner
-Promote an environment that creates resolution of quality issues with appropriate internal team
-Utilize ERP system in daily functions, including entering or changing pricing in the system in real-time
-Continuously manage ongoing relationships with all network suppliers
-Maintain an average REQ processing turn-around-time of two (2) working days
-Maintain periodical KPI reviews to make sure that suppliers are providing a high standard of customer service
-Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, lead time improvement, communication, etc. through detailed communication with suppliers as well as internal team
-Develop market data for new sources of supply based on cost, quality, capacity, and service
-Mitigate risk with multi-channel sourcing, and alternative sourcing of high-risk components
-Manage RFP projects by working with internal stakeholders and suppliers per the defined process, from pre-qualification of suppliers, bidder communications, project tracking, bid leveling analysis, selection recommendation, negotiation and contracting, and supplier onboarding to achieve optimal TCO (cost, service, & quality)
