Company Brief: 

 

My name is Derek McNeill. I'm the owner of a digital advertising management firm called PayPerClick LLC (www.payperclickdigital.com).

 

I founded PayPerClick in 2017 as a 1-man digital marketing consultancy. Since then, PayPerClick has expanded to include about a dozen partners and employees. We manage the ppc (pay per click) marketing efforts of small to mid-sized businesses across the globe, spending an average of $9K-$10K per month on Google, Facebook, and other digital ad platforms. 

 

These digital marketing campaigns help companies to increase their sales, optimize their lead streams, recruit new employees, and much more. We also arrange IT training (coding, robotics, web design, etc) classes for both kids & adults!

 

About Me: 

 

I got my first job at the age of 14,  wiring houses and programming alarms for my father’s security company. I then got started working as a laborer with his construction company at the age of 16, eventually moving into a client relations/sales role. 

 

After spending my teenage years growing within the family businesses, I eventually assisted my father in the sale of the security business in 2006, when I was 18. I first began consulting on a contract basis for small business clients in 2007, as an Outside Sales Consultant. 

 

Starting with those initial consulting contracts, my B2C & B2B sales experience eventually spanned the automotive, software, manufacturing, and telecom sectors. I resigned from my most recent sales management role in 2017, when I founded PayPerClick LLC. 

 

About the Role: Business Development Manager

 

Until now, the majority of our clients have come by way of referral from existing clients, but I’ve recently decided to bring a few sales professionals on board to expand our business development efforts. Especially as it relates to our high-ad-spend clients ($20K+ monthly).

As a BD Manager at PayPerClick, your main responsibility will be to prospect for new clients and partnership opportunities. This is a remote position where you will NOT be based in an office, and you’ll be free to decide your own hours and methods to get the job done. 

 

The “job” is simple: Introduce us to new potential clients. That’s it!!

 

About Our Company & Our Services:

 

In a nutshell, we manage our client’s ppc accounts on Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, & other digital ad platforms. For this service, we charge clients a monthly percentage of their ad spend. As our BD Manager, you will receive a monthly commission for each of your referred clients, as long as they remain with us.

For now, you’ll be focused on selling our ppc management services to clients at the Small Business level and above (minimum $10K monthly ppc ad spend). Having some familiarity with the technical aspects of ppc marketing would be a huge plus. 

 

Although we are targeting a certain level of ad spend, you are not barred from referring customers with smaller monthly budgets. However, they must be above our $2K monthly ad spend minimum.

 

Pricing & Billing:

 

The cost of our ppc management services range from $360 to $10K+ per month, and these services are available with 6-month contracts. New small business clients pay between $499 and $799 for initial account setup, with monthly management fees charged every 30 days thereafter. 

 

The client will be billed every 30 days, based on the total ad spend in all managed accounts for the previous 30 days. 

 

If the client decides to end our arrangement before the end of their contract term, they will be charged a prorated management fee based on their monthly ad spend at that time. 

 

You will receive a final commission payment based on that amount.

 

Commission: 

 

As mentioned above, this is a commission-based 1099 position. As a BD Manager, you will be responsible for introducing us to new clients. Any client you introduce is “yours”, and you will earn residual commissions from that client account, as long as we service their ad accounts. 

 

As mentioned above, we manage client PPC ad accounts on Google, Bing, Facebook, etc. Our price for this ad management service is based on the client’s combined monthly PPC ad spend.

[$10K-$25K monthly ad spend]

Growing Small Business

[$25K-$40K monthly ad spend]

1.5% monthly commission

New Acct. Signing Bonus: $400

 

Enterprise

[$40K-$120K monthly ad spend]

1% monthly commission

New Acct. Signing Bonus: $500

 

 

Commission Example: You refer 4 clients in your first month:

 

Client 1: $6,000/monthly ad spend = $300 New Acct. Bonus + $150 Monthly

 

Client 2: $11,000/monthly ad spend = $350 New Acct. Bonus + $220 Monthly

 

Client 3: $3,000/monthly ad spend = $250 New Acct. Bonus + $90 Monthly

 

Client 4: $25,000/monthly ad spend = $350 New Acct. Bonus + $500 Monthly

 

So if you only refer these 4 new clients, you will receive $2,210 after their first 30 days, and $960 in monthly residuals for the duration of our engagement. As you can see, there is the potential for you to earn a significant residual income by working with us over time.

 

Qualifications:

 

We intentionally decided not to include an exhaustive list of qualifications and requirements for this role. We don’t care if you went to college or if you won any awards at your last job. The only thing that matters is that you are able to sell, as we will NOT be providing much guidance or training for this role.

 

We are not interested in building out a large, detailed sales apparatus within our company. Once you have an understanding of the services we provide, it is up to you to decide how you would like to approach potential clients. As long as your methods are legal and don’t damage our reputation, you are free to define this role in your own way.
