We are seeking a Business Development Associate to be an integral part of the Sales and Marketing Team to identify new sales opportunities to build the sales pipeline and customer base.


About The Position

 

OVERVIEW
 

The Business Development Associate works closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to generate new business opportunities/leads. This position offers excellent training and an impressive opportunity for growth in fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for fact-finding, lead development, and prospect cultivation in a specific geographic territory.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Follow-up from direct marketing campaigns such as email blasts, webinars, and tradeshows.
  • Directly executing telephone-based sales calls and qualifying prospects for the purchase of our solutions.
  • Assist our Sales Team in gathering information on each opportunity such as the competitive landscape, facility specific pain points, etc.
  • Conduct thorough market research into prospects and concisely and accurately communicating key information to the Sales Team.
  • Proactively monitor and initiate contact from website visits.
  • Engage and work with the direct sales team.
  • Fact-finding, lead development and prospect cultivation.
  • Present qualified prospects to the Sales Team with detailed reasoning for handoff to the Regional Sales Manager for direct discussion with the prospect.
  • Attend and/or assist with industry events as needed.
  • Utilize LinkedIn and other message boards and groups to uncover opportunities.
  • Differentiate Sentact by understanding and professionally articulating our business/capabilities to prospects and clients.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Sentact CRM tool, ZoHo.com, with all activity in assigned territory.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous sales experience and an interest in growing in a sales-based career is a plus.
  • Business development skills related to healthcare software sales, preferably with a focus on quality, support services, and/or patient experience is considered a plus.
  • Proven success articulating messaging over the phone and in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven phone sales/lead generation for a technology business.
  • Fearless attitude, tenacious work ethic, self-starter with a competitive spirit.
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with repeated rejection and adversity.
  • Ability to work well independently while being a strong team player.

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Executive is primarily responsible for contracting new business within the assigned territory, working closely with Marketing to generate leads and manage the sales process.  
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct cold calls, prospects and qualifies opportunities
  • Develop pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities
  • Identify and create business needs with senior executive decision makers
  • Create and communicate the value of Sentact solutions with prospects and clients
  • Build relationships at all levels within hospitals and healthcare organizations
  • Close opportunities
  • Develop a detailed territory plan
  • Develop individual account strategies to effectively penetrate accounts
  • Develop thorough understanding of each account's business needs
  • Attend and/or assist with industry events as needed
  • Differentiate Sentact by understanding and professionally articulating our business/capabilities to prospects and clients
  • Maintain and regularly update the Sentact CRM tool, Zoho.com, with all activity in assigned territory

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Administration or other related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare technology sales
  • Proven success articulating a corporate message over the phone and in person
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities and close new business within the healthcare environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Fearless attitude, tenacious work ethic, self-starter with a competitive spirit
  • Ability to work well independently while being a strong team player
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Office Suite of software products
    • Sentact’s CRM tool (Zoho.com)
    • Marketing automation tools
