Job Title: Business Analyst 2
Location: Columbus, OH
7 months with possible extension

Personal laptop required. DAS does not issue laptops.


Job Summary:
Candidate will support the Ohio Benefits and Medicaid programs by performing casework that supports up to 88 counties. Casework includes activities such as application intake, obtaining customer verifications, eligibility processing and complex case analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Enter and analyze data to ensure correct eligibility adjudication
    Compare and evaluate of disparate and sometimes conflicting data
    Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues by demonstrating an understanding of client needs based on information gathered from multiple data sources.
    Support the execution of case management activities including initiating and responding to requests, coordinating with internal and external partners, researching and resolving issues, and gathering information.
    Analyze data to make informed decisions and determine appropriate outcomes based on automated system rule sets.
    Escalate issues to Team Lead and maintain open line of communication regarding work status
    Create and/or support project deliverables and work products

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    Strong customer service communication skills. Candidate must be comfortable requesting additional information from clients and business partners via phone, e-mail, and postal mail.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of Two Consecutive Years of Employment with the Last Two Employers
40 Hours Per Week – Monday Through Friday

DESIRED SKILLS:
Medicaid Experience Preferred, especially in eligibility determination
