Big Data Architect

Role:     Big Data Architect II

Count of Resources needed:  2

Location: Orlando, Florida

Duration:     9 mos. probably will be extended

Visa:  EAD, H1b ok, must have 18 mos until expiration

Mandatory:

·         5-8 years direct Big Data Arch and Engineering experience for Big Data Arch II position

·         Must have Data Engineering or Cloud Architecture (either AWS or Azure) specifically related to Data Warehouse, ETL & big data (large data sets)

·         Preferred skills:  Strong python and Spark (Pyspark), Databases with Hive, noSQL, or SQL, having some experience with SnowSQL is great but not mandatory

·         Should have built 1-2 pipeline projects within the past few years

·         Strong data ingestion using Python, SQL, Java, Spark, Scala, etc.

·         Strong Data warehouse solutions via Teradata, Oracle or DB2

·         Must have largescale experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, automate data pipelines, testing

·         Strong data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based Testing and clearly documenting implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test.

•         Liaising with the client and client team in understanding current data inputs and the future need

•         the primary point of contact to architect and implement very large-scale data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse

•         Comfortable building relationships with internal partners and stakeholders

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skill
