Position Summary:

EzData Systems, Inc is a San Jose, CA based Cloud BI & IT Solutions/ Services Organization serving customer located throughout North America with a focus in Big Data Analytics and deploying Big Data Management Solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Big Data (MicroStrategy) developer to join EzData Systems in our Big Data Analytics Practice.

Job Role:

• Responsible for analysis, design and development of Business Intelligence solutions for AT&T using prior experience in Big data frameworks like MapReduce, PIG, HIVE, Hbase, SQOOP, Spark and programming languages like Java, SCALA, Python and Shell scripting
• Collaborate with Executives and global the BI teams, project managers and analysts in finalizing business needs and build data integration and visualization applications using Teradata, COGNOS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, ELK Stack and ETL tools such as Informatica
• Design and build applications to process click stream, viewership, account activity data to build BI models using MicroStrategy tools and analyze customer behavior
• Leverage previous experience in fetching, cleaning, transforming and loading the data from different sources like Relational databases, Amazon S3 buckets, Google Cloud Platforms and server logs from different servers using SQOOP, vendor specific API's and custom scripts
• Develop UI design specs that allows and facilitate project and functional requirements across a multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of the project
• Create metrics, attributes, filters, reports, and dashboards. Created advanced chart types, visualizations and complex calculations to manipulate the data.
• Design systems to analyze customer data from different sources which include streaming sources web server logs, mobile application and batch processing sources which include retail stores to perform predictive analysis and support BI team to make business decisions

Required qualifications:

Education: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Information Systems, or a combination of education and experience equating to the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Experience Required for the position:

• The candidate must possess at least 3 years of experience developing applications in IT industry, importantly proven hands-on experience in building applications leveraging past experience in various data modeling paradigms for both structured and unstructured data, data querying languages such as SQL and HiveQL, strong expertise in Scala, Java, Python, R and ETL tools such as Informatica.
• This position also requires the expertise of Machine Learning concepts (ML), time series analysis, logistic regression, decision trees, and ensemble models like the random forest, gradient boosting models and used cross-validation for model evaluation and especially proven hands-on industry experience in building BI dashboards using MicroStrategy/ Power BI / Tableau from different data environment.
• Proven expertise with ML frameworks namely Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffee, etc
• Extensive client facing skills with the ability to lead customer / business user meetings (as appropriate) and excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the enterprise from executives to developers
