Behavioral Health Technician

We are a licensed treatment facility that believes in a holistic treatment program, integrating the 12-Steps of recovery along with cutting-edge techniques, custom developed by experts who understand what it takes to recover from addiction in order to live a happy, healthy, drug-and alcohol-free life. We are currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) The BHT is an integral part of our team on the night shift.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Clinician/BHT you will provide a safe and secure environment for our clients in a residential setting, and engage them in skills training, designed to enhance functioning leading to community integration and self-sufficiency in living, learning, social and work environments. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, caseload management, crisis management, and coordination of care.

You will provide direct support to our clients, engaging them in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health, and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services, and crisis management. You will be responsible for overseeing the medication process and submitting clinical documentation.

Skills/Requirements

• A High School Diploma/GED and three years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting
• Current Colorado Driver's License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Addiction experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR card
• Minimum one year of experience working as a BHT
• Ability to work an evening shift
