Job Type

Part-Time BCBA/LBA for home-based services. 4 hours of direct service, 1 hour of supervision

Job Hours

Mon & Wed 4:30pm-6:00pm; Thurs 4:30pm-6:30pm

Job Location

67th Street, Manhattan NY

Job Compensation

$90-$120

Your Impact Here at MBC

  • Supervise ABA providers to ensure correct implementation of programs and behavior management tactics
  • Maintain contact with parents in a positive and professional manner, ensuring timely responses to all caregiver questions and/or concerns
  • Observe on a monthly basis (center and/or home based)
  • Conduct assessments and develop programs
  • Write progress reports and IEP goals
  • Review program book on a weekly basis (monitor and analyze data, revise instructional tactics as needed, add short-term objectives as needed, implement new programming)
  • Develop behavior plans as needed
  • Create, prepare, and organize teaching materials for client
  • Participate in IEP meetings and/or hearings as needed
  • Collaborate with related service providers and/or the clients classroom providers to ensure consistency
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
  • BCBA and NYS LBA
  • Experience working in a home-based environment preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and clinic
  • Must have a compatible device (iPad, Laptop etc.) to use for electronic notes
