Automotive Painter

As a member of the paint team, you will be tasked with performing exterior paint work on vehicles in a low volume production setting. This paint work is done at the production standards commensurate with OEM production paint work. We utilize both solvent borne and water borne paint to complete various projects in house. 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Priming, taping and painting production quality vehicles
• Painting an entire vehicle, or certain parts or components on that vehicle
• Assistance with disassembly and reassembly of body and trim components
• Dent repair, also using filler
• Color matching and paint blending parts on refinish repairs
• Rub and polish exterior of vehicles
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications: 

• Valid driver's license
• Must have your own painting equipment
• At least 1 year of automotive paint experience

Requires the Following Skills: 

• Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow-up and execution of required tasks
• High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Oral and Written communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
• Must be willing to assist peers, teach and help out as well as exude flexibility
