TITLE:

Automotive Collision & Refinishing Technology Instructor  
 

LOCATION:

Pole Campus, Norwich, NY

 

REPORTS:

Director

 

TERMS:

Full-time, 10 months

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification in:

  • Vehicle Body Repair & Painting
  • Automotive Body Repair
  • Automotive Industries

Must be current and familiar with all aspects of the automotive repair trades.  Relevant industry certifications are required.  Minimum of three years of trade experience desired.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Selected candidate will be responsible for providing direct Automotive Collision & Refinishing Technology instruction to high school age students as well as adult students in a school setting. Candidate will assess, revise, certify, and deliver a curriculum that meets New York State Education Department Learning Standards.

 

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Starting salary $52,991 - $79,266 per year.  Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
