Audiology Assistant Needed
Adult and Pediatric Patient Care
30-40 Hours/week
Salary DOE
TRAINING PROVIDED
No industry experience needed, just a desire to work with people and help those with hearing loss.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with hearing tests and perform hearing screening
- Work with hearing aids (cleaning, cataloging, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Support patients (providing instructions, review care options, etc.)
- Patient care and follow up calls
- Stock/maintain/clean clinic supplies and equipment
- Community outreach
- Other administrative responsibilities as directed
- Expanded opportunities based on experience and/or ability
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to work directly with adults, children, and people with hearing loss
- Be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Superior organizational and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
PREFERRED:
- HIS, CNA, or early childhood education certification(s)
and/or
- Bachelors in Speech & Hearing, Communication Sciences, or related degree
and/or
- Experience in hearing or speech industry
