Location:1135 Aviation Pl, San Fernando, CA 91340

Duration: 04 Months contract

Shift: Monday thru Friday 3:30pm-12am + 2 hours OT to 2am and Saturdays 1:30pm--12am.

Summary Description

• Responsible for producing assemblies using component parts per written and verbal work instructions.
• Will use hand and power tools, machines, and their own hands including material handling and packaging on pallets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain efficiency levels.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component to assure quality product.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; notifies supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with housekeeping procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notifies supervisor of potential shortages.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Follows and implements 5S techniques.
• Follows Safety guidelines and use required PPE designated by specific areas.
