Asphalt Plant Mechanic

Eureka Stone Quarry is looking for an experienced Asphalt Plant Mechanic with five years of experience for all our asphalt plant locations in the Bucks County Area.

The Asphalt Plant Mechanic will be responsible for safely repairing and replacing all asphalt plant equipment. The Asphalt Plant Mechanic must possess critical thinking, communication, ability to learn, and commitment to safety. You must possess mechanical, fabrication skills, and equipment operation experience.

Asphalt Plant Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

· Daily inspections of plant equipment for safe and proper operation

· Perform preventative, predictive and correct equipment maintenance on all asphalt plant systems and equipment

· Observe equipment operation to detect potential problems

· Diagnose, repair, and rebuild all asphalt plant and crusher systems

· Maintain plant lubrication schedule

· Provide solutions to improve plant reliability, performance, and safety

· Fabricate and weld plant component parts as needed

· Examine parts for damage or excessive wear

· Operate heavy equipment as needed to perform necessary tasks

· Monitor material temperature and quality

Qualifications and Requirements

· Must have 5 years of experience as an Asphalt Plant Mechanic

· Skilled in Cutting with Oxy-acetylene torch and welding fabrication experience

· Be able to lift 50 pounds or more daily

· Must be able to climb, twist, bend and kneel

· Valid Driver’s license

You will be provided with a company vehicle for transportation to our Asphalt Plant locations.

This is a full-time position
