Architect

Job Description

Due to rapid growth Design Studio 24/ DCS Midwest is looking to hire an experienced architect to join their team. Compensation is dependent upon experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with great team members on commercial shell/ core architecture and design projects

· Work as member of a team from project inception to completion

· Work on projects to ensure design intent during execution of the construction documents and

throughout construction.

· Communicate with the team and clients on technical impact and budget related issues.

· Work to coordinate all disciplines of the Project process

· Prepare accurate and detailed technical documents

· Prepare and document required code research for project

Desired Skills and Experience

· Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution

· 6 to 15 years + experience in Shell and Core Architecture for Retail, Hospitality, and Mixed Use Commercial buildings

· Extensive knowledge of design principles and standards

· Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, 3D Rendering software

· Understanding of and concern for attention to detail

· Excellent teamwork communication & coordination skills; Self starter

· Experience in project process; building analysis, test-fits, schematic design, design development, construction documents

Our primary work consists of negotiated projects in the retail, restaurant and medical sectors working with national brand companies. Projects range from out parcel, ground up build-to-suits thru large parcel assemblage site and infrastructure developments.
