Agricultural Equipment Shop Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled Shop Manager / Custom Applicator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in agricultural equipment operation to take on a leadership role in our company.
 

Job Description:

As the Shop Manager / Custom Applicator, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our equipment, as well as managing the shop operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that our equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition to support our operations. Strong mechanical skills and experience running self-propelled sprayers and row crop equipment are essential for success in this role.
 

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in agricultural equipment operation.
• Experience running self-propelled sprayers and row crop equipment.
• CDL and Custom Applicator License required.
• Clean driving record.
• Farming background preferred.
• Ability to work long hours during the season.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment in the shop.
• Operate self-propelled sprayers and row crop equipment as needed.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Manage shop operations and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with customer service efforts as needed.
• Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for improving equipment performance and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year + Benefits
