Position: Agile Coach

Ø Client: Delta Air Lines, Inc

Ø Pay rate: $60-65.00/hr. on C2C.

Ø Location: Remote to start but Delta does plan to go back to the office in June/July timeframe so this individual will be working from the Delta offices in Atlanta..

Ø Duration: 12 Months to start...likely to go longer or potential for C2P down the road

 

Required Skills

  • 5+ years as an Agile Coach preferably in an enterprise level environment. Collaborative teacher/trainer and servant leadership mentality.
  • Professional Certification Required: Minimum one of the following certifications:
    • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or any of the SAFe certifications like SAFe Agilist (SA)
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more Agile development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization (CI, CD, XP, TDD, etc.)
  • Strong experience facilitating and training individuals within an organization including Agile values and practices, Scrum, Kanban, Process, and practices

 

  • Description: We are looking for an Agile Coach to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity helping with our Agile transformation! You will work closely with executives, leaders, teams, and business partners throughout the organization to ensure effective value delivery based upon defined agile value & principles. You will provide guidance, mentoring, training, and coaching across the organization to ensure the delivery of "value" from a people, product, and organization perspective. For this Agile Coach role, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Train Agile teams on Agile Frameworks specific to us including Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Utilize Agile techniques to help the business build product backlogs, help prioritize them, and drive value for Agile Delivery Teams within a scaling effort (SAFe)
  • Coach Agile teams, shared services teams, systems teams, etc. across portfolio and requisite business partners on transparency, empowerment, ethics, self-organization, and responsive action
  • Guide Agile teams to improve their ability to be predictive using the right estimation and capacity planning techniques
  • Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners/Managers, and Release Train Engineers to continuously evolve and mature to Agile ways of thinking
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the organization throughout including the use of scaling methods and value stream identification and optimization
  • Lead workshops and training sessions focused on educating individuals on Agile values, principles and practices, and tool enablement
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the Agile team
