Job Summary

If you have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, you may be exactly what we are looking for as our next aircraft technician. Our aircraft technicians work in the maintenance department of our facilities and provide a high level of mechanical service and repairs to our fleet of aircraft. This position requires the candidate to have the top level of expertise in avionics, aircraft systems and complex instrumentation on our fleet. The ideal person for this role can support the team's projects and perform accurate and detailed tasks. If you have the necessary skills, knowledge and dedication to doing things right, then this may be the right job for you.

Job Responsibilities

' Inspect different parts of the aircraft daily such as the fuselage, windows, interior, instrumentation, wings, landing gear and navigation systems using visual methods and other company standard procedures to anticipate and correct potential problems.
' Record all maintenance details each time work is completed in the aircraft's maintenance log while making sure all documentation follows the FAA's standard operating procedures.
' Diagnose problems with the aircraft when repairs are necessary by examining the structure, testing equipment, reviewing pilot logs and reading aircraft equipment manuals.
' Perform routine maintenance on aircraft components by checking fuel samples, adding lubrication, flushing engine parts and replacing worn pieces.
' Review work quality and aircraft performance by routinely sitting in on flights and noting various aspects of the vehicle's capabilities.
' Ensure final work results are of the highest quality by reviewing FAA standards and doing a final check for airworthiness.
' Develop new skills in aircraft maintenance and continue to support current qualifications by periodically attending training and classes.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required
' Two or more years of experience in aircraft maintenance
' Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Preferred
  • ' Ability to work outside of regular weekday hours
    ' Physical capability to stand for long periods of time
