Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will assist other members of the A/P and Accounting teams with ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of payments per HIIQ's invoicing protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Moving incoming invoices from email to invoicing system
• Sending invoices for approval within invoicing system
• Answering Vendor questions/complaints
• Gathering support for auto-debits
• Coding invoices
• Assisting Accounts Payable Specialist
• Processing AP payments via check, EFT, or wire
• Scanning and filing responsibilities as assigned
• Special projects or other duties assigned

Education and Work Experience:
• High School Diploma required; advanced education or Accounting-specific training is preferred
• Basic accounting/bookkeeping skills required
• Experience working in a corporate office environment
• Demonstrable proficiency in MS Office
• Effective listening, writing and general communication skills are required
