We are currently expanding our sales operations and looking to add an Account Executive to be based in New York. Your superpowers are sales discipline, high activity levels, broad communications and an ability to leverage deep relationships to get people on board. You’ve got deep relationships with media agencies, larger shops, and clients who know you and trust you enough to give it a try when you bring them something new and can make things happen quickly. The ideal fit for this role is someone who is an experienced digital media sales executive, with a deep understanding of both programmatic and direct digital advertising marketplaces. You have a stellar book of relationships, an entrepreneurial spirit, a problem-solver and most importantly YOU ARE A CLOSER!


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue with NY-based media agencies and advertisers
  • Walk the walk and talk the talk: be out in the field consistently, shaking hands, kissing babies and closing
  • Call on both agency trading desks and direct investment teams with the express goal driving spend with Ranker
  • Call on brand advertisers to generate revenue or support of agency activations
  • Connect the dots between all levels of holding company and advertiser decision makers
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends
  • Identify new products, packages, and areas for organic growth
     
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of successful digital advertising sales
  • Strong relationships with day to day investment decision makers
  • Established book of entertainment vertical contacts.  Packaged goods is also a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business targets and revenue goals
  • Aptitude for a high volume of in-person client pitches
  • Expertise in selling premium advertising solutions and introducing new products/marketing concepts to marketers
  • Deep understanding and past use of industry CRM tools
  • Proficient in Google Suite as well as MS Word, Excel, PPT
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy; roll up your sleeves mentality and a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Highly entrepreneurial, comfortable working in fast-paced environments and loves the hustle
  • Strong negotiation skills & ability to close
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability/willingness for a high level of client entertainment
