Job Description:

As an Account Executive on the direct sales team, you will identify, source and close good-fit prospects. Using strong consultative marketing and selling skills, you will drive self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with internal stakeholders to achieve team goals and work towards Chatter Buzz mission.

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Prospect for new business to increase client base
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual lead gen target goals and objectives
  • Maintain personal forecasting of individual sales to ensure sales quota success
  • Manage multiple deals concurrently and drive sales process through to completion
  • Deliver a superior client experience, with an emphasis on client retention and growth
  • Perform due diligence with respect to new client relationships
  • Meet with Director of Sales & Account Services weekly as an ‘accountability partner’ and to explore additional opportunities for growth
  • Follow up with all assigned leads in a one business day
  • Qualify all assigned leads to determine if they are a fit
  • Follow the sales process to facilitate the sales funnel
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our growth-driven sales model
  • Continually look for new outbound sales lead opportunities
  • Maintain all sales pipeline and document updated notes for all of your sales leads
  • Work with creative team to develop accurate estimates for new projects
  • Follow company sales procedures from prospecting, to proposal, to follow up, to closing
  • Participate in all Internal Kick off meetings or conference calls with clients
  • Work closely with the Account Services teams to turn projects over when sold
  • Strive to get at least one referral from every client project that is completed from your sales efforts
  • Responsible for projecting Sales based on the minimum quota assigned
  • Promote positive relations with strategic partners and client partners
  • Attend networking events, chamber events / meetings, meet-ups, etc regularly to prospect for new business leads
     
 

We are looking for people who:
 

  • Must have strong ability to work independently and perform at a high level without the daily support
  • Basic knowledge of web design & development and digital marketing desired
  • Prior experience selling and/or working with web design & web development preferred
  • Works as a team player to support the entire company
  • Possess high energy and positive attitude
  • Operates at a high degree of personal integrity
  • Focuses on exceeding expectations rather than just meeting them
  • Must be prepared, well organized, and detail-oriented
  • Has a keen ability to problem solve and take action
  • Passionate about selling and goal-oriented
  • A focus on strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of working with sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to relate to and understand client needs, create an accurate projection of projects and educate client partners on project costs and time-frames. Also, work closely with internal team(s) to keep a project on task and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build brand awareness throughout Central Florida and other markets
  • A willingness to go ‘above and beyond’ to make the Sales department exceed expectations
  • Ability to travel to meet with Clients as/when needed
  • 2+ years of work experience in Sales
  • Digital Marketing experience helpful
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software
  • Understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Experience with customer service and account sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
