The Account Executive / Customer Service Representative position is primarily responsible for servicing the customers through the knowledge of our organization, its services, and products. The main objective is to provide excellent service not only in account administration but also in sales. An excellent Customer Service Rep must have the ability to work as the liaison between the Customer, Logistics, Sales, and other operational areas.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Receive and process orders and payments sent by customers
- Quote and/or calculate the services to be charged to the customer
- Register shipments and maintain an accurate record of shipments and truck
logs
- Provide customers with accurate information pertaining to tracking of orders,
estimated delivery dates, pricing and availability of the product.
- Efficiently resolve customer request, questions and complains frequently
- Follow up on pending orders, shipment, and backorders
- Evaluate and assist in reconciling accounts and submit for approval
- Generate and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a
timely manner
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend
specific product solutions
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase satisfaction
and transaction profitability
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 Year of Customer Service/ Sales preferred
- Energetic and driven to achieve goals
- Able to work in a multifaceted, customer service-oriented team
- Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity and tact
- Strong telephone skills/etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
