NAMS Transportation has been successfully providing transportation for 40+ years to seniors and adults with disabilities. Several of our team members that were here for the early days are still at NAMS! Full and Part-time positions available- Evenings and weekends are also available and a big need! Great for a second income!

  • Lift van drivers start at - $17.00 per hour
  • Sedan drivers start at - $14.00 per hour

*** Sign On Bonus for Full-Time Drivers= $4,000!

*** Sign On Bonus for Part- Time Drivers= $2,000!

  • NAMS is located in the North Hills
  • Territory: Northern Allegheny County/City of Pittsburgh
  • Must be 25 or older to apply and no CDL license is required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • NAMS ACCESS Drivers must be at least 25 years of age
  • Must have a valid PA Driver's license with no suspensions in the last 5 years
  • 5 years of personal driving experience/history required
  • Applicants must pass background checks/drug tests (company paid)
  • All Lift Van applicants must pass a DOT physical

Company Description:

The Transportation Department of NAMS provides transit services to the City of Pittsburgh and the suburbs of northern Allegheny County from 6 a.m. until midnight 365 days a year for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Wheelchair vans and passenger vehicles are available depending on riders’ needs.

Organizations serviced by the NAMS Transportation Department include:

  • NAMS programs
  • Allegheny County Department of Aging
  • ACCESS Transportation Systems of Allegheny County
  • Department of Public Welfare

Transportation services are provided in conjunction with ACCESS.
