CASE 1
Upper Manhattan / Up to 19 Hours per week Wed after 5pm & Alternative Sat and Sun (before 11am or after 3:30pm) / Home Based
CASE 2
Upper West Side / 5 Hours per week Mon/Wed/Thurs 4pm to 630pm/Home Based
CASE 3
Upper East Side / 5 Hours per week Sat 930am to 230pm / Home Based
CASE 4
Brooklyn / 9 Hours per week weekdays 430pm to 8pm/ Home Based

Job Compensation

$50 - $65 per hour based on education, certification and experience

Your Impact Here at MBC

• Implement ABA-based programs using DTT, Learn Unit, Task Analysis, probe data and NET teaching methods
• Collect program and behavior data which can include but are not limited to aggression, SIB, property destruction, elopement, stereotypy
• Implement research-based interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills
• Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes. This may mean physically intervening after being trained thoroughly, to help deescalate children when they become a danger to themselves or others.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session
• Work collaboratively with team of ABA therapists, BCBAs, related service providers to implement student-specific strategies and protocols
• Report issues or challenges to BCBA Case Manager or Program Supervisor
• Show professional and calm demeanor throughout daily interactions with students, staff, parents, and visitors
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Enrollment or completion of a BACB-approved or verified course sequence ABA program.
• RBT Certification with at least 3 years of experience 
• Experience with children with Autism or PDD population using the ABA model
• Experience working in a home-based environment preferred
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and clinic.
• Must have a compatible device (iPad, Laptop etc.) to use for electronic notes
