Program Overview:
Overall program management, including identifying and managing requirements and programmatic tasks,
- Developing the designs and detailed engineering for the customer network,
- Refining the architecture, developing the configuration and routing/forwarding tables for the customer network,
- Developing the configuration, bandwidth sizing requirements, and routing/forwarding tables for the Top Level Architecture (TLA) security stacks
- Achieving optimized network designs at approximately 67 locations
- Supporting the user migration from legacy wide area network equipment to the optimized Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network.
Position Overview:
The role necessitates a Business Process Engineer to support the network modernization project. The primary objective of this position is to contribute to developing Configuration Management Processes to establish essential workflows within the ServiceNow platform. These processes encompass the entire service lifecycle and encompass the comprehensive management of service assets. In collaboration with the Change Management function, the Configuration Management (CM) process takes on the responsibility of governing these assets. This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle of both IT and service assets, spanning from initial planning and acquisition to deployment, ongoing maintenance, and eventual retirement or disposal. There is a substantial volume of approximately 3,500 assets that necessitate meticulous service asset and configuration management.
The Business Process Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the Change Management lifecycle in connection with the Asset management lifecycle. This role will also involve on-site work, including site surveys and collecting critical data during these surveys. This data will be instrumental in the engineering and constructing of the necessary ServiceNow Implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication skills are crucial to collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams, project managers, and other relevant parties.

- Problem-Solving: Be prepared to identify and solve issues related to configuration management and service asset tracking.
- Configuration Management (CM) Expertise: In-depth knowledge of configuration management principles and practices, especially concerning service assets across the entire service lifecycle.
- Asset Management: Proficiency in managing IT and service assets throughout their entire lifecycle, from planning and acquisition to deployment, maintenance, and eventual retirement or disposal.
- Change Management Integration: Collaboration with Change Management teams to ensure that the CM processes align with change control procedures.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining a complete inventory of service assets and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Data Analysis: The ability to analyze data related to service assets and configuration management to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all CM processes adhere to regulatory requirements and organizational governance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance and optimize CM processes and workflows for increased efficiency.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions and share knowledge with team members and end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of CM processes in ServiceNow.
- Project Support: Support the network modernization project, ensuring that CM processes align with project objectives and timelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and working with the ServiceNow Platform with modules Change Management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Workflow Engine, Asset Management, and Incident and Problem Management.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, as it may be necessary to manage aspects of the ServiceNow implementation and configuration management projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying complex technical information to various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions within the context of configuration management and asset tracking.
- Business Process Engineering: The analyst should have expertise in business process engineering to help design and optimize the Configuration Management Processes (CM processes) within ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Proficiency: A strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its capabilities for configuration management and workflow development, is essential.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams, including IT, project management, and other stakeholders.
- Workflow Design: Ability to design, map, and implement workflows within ServiceNow to manage and control service assets efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Given the significant number of assets (approximately 3,500), meticulous attention to detail is vital to ensure accuracy and completeness in asset management.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and address issues and challenges related to configuration management and asset tracking.
- On-Site Work: Willingness and availability to perform on-site surveys and gather data as required for the ServiceNow implementation.
- Must have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or other ServiceNow Certification aligned with job requirement.
